You often hear about 'Digital Aging' , but perhaps not all of you know what it is.

Yes, because it's a phenomenon that has only been affecting us for a few years, or since we entered the era of computers and mobile devices.

What happens to our skin? We are exposed every day, for hours, at electromagnetic waves emitted by the screens. These waves overheat the tissues and increase the evaporation of the water they contain. This means that the skin becomes dehydrated , losing elasticity and turgidity.

Not only that: in front of the computer or on the mobile we also hire poor neck posture which, over time, causes a double chin and so-called puppet lines around the mouth.

Also the eyes they suffer from it: dryness and redness are very frequent.

In short, a series of processes are unleashed that we clearly perceive on an aesthetic level, as evidenced by the many investigations carried out in recent years.

We at Balique, you know, are not fanatics of perfection at any cost, but premature ageing caused, for example, by long work sessions we don't want that, right? Wrinkles better come to us for good laughs!

What can be done?

If you are not fond of beauty treatments, we can give you some advice 'do it yourself' , a good habit to adopt at home.

In addition to an accurate beauty routine, there are precise movements to improve skin tone and microcirculation. It's about facial gymnastics , have you ever tried it?

You must know that there are many exercises for 'train' the face just like you train your body, stimulating the areas most at risk.

There is a lot of talk about them now: just look for them on the internet and many tutorials will appear, each aimed at working specific facial muscles.

They have to be done every day, even for a few minutes, in front of the mirror, while you wash the dishes, while you work in the garden… They are simple and, let's face it, even a little funny.

Our favorite is the one that acts up flaccid neck And double chin .

How you do it? Secure your hands at the base of your neck. Lift your chin and imagine the movement of a fish inside an aquarium looking for food on the surface of the water. Your mouth must imitate that movement: tense your neck muscles upwards, open and close your mouth in a regular rhythm by lifting your jaw as much as possible. Repeat for at least a minute, until you feel your skin pulling and tingling a bit!

Try it every day and you will notice the difference!
